When will Amazon decide on their lineup? If this makes it or not, I'm interested to see which shows cut it.
Personally, I enjoyed Edge. It was campy, gory, etc.. But, isn't it a nice break from the reality shows and high drama? The acting was at decent/passable. Overall, I had fun watching it. The stunts were great.
Anyone who thinks this is a "stupid" show needs to download more than a few westerns from 30-50 years ago. I think that's just what this show is aiming for.
I agree, it's really corny but I like it. I would keep watching. It's a fun show.

They seem to choose shows based on mainstream appeal (Bosch, The Afters) or critical acclaim (Transparent) and this show is lacking both. Despite it being one of the more mainstream shows of this set, it has a worryingly low user rating. share
Actually, if you add the 4 and 5 stars together for Edge, it still doing just as good as the 'most liked' show of the current pilots. And If you add the Amazon ratings in England and Germany, it's doing way better than any of the other pilots. Same situation here on IMDB. I think the reason Amazon won't pick this up is cost, nothing else. It's probably the most expensive show to make by far. Stunts, pyro, props, animals, CGI and well known producers is not cheap. If the number of viewers was even even higher, like another 20-30% and the show created more buzz on social media, then yes. Now? I think I will say a 50-50 chance.

And yeah, this confirms it, except it didn't include the German and UK rating. More good votes on IMDB to. So by the rating systems, Edge is actually the winner. But as I said, Amazon may want even more potential viewers for it to be economical viable. Also we must be aware that the actual number of views may differ quite a bit from the number of ratings. Only Amazon know.
It will be interesting to see what they go for.
Edge is one of the best western shows i have seen in a long time and im 52 years of age ive seen westerns live on tv that are now 40 years and more . The show was directed by the best . Action was great and the stunts are somewhat original ! What more could you want ? I would pay to see a season of this show . I would like to know whos voteing ? This should have been the best show period hands down !
shareI completely agree with you MJG. I am 52 also, maybe its an age thing, lol. When I watched the trailer with the Amazon Prime logo on the bottom of the screen I thought it was a series already with this being the pilot. I was ready to pay for Prime to watch it. I hope they decide to make it a series, they will gain a customer.

disappoint, casting Max Martini as Edge is brilliant' is there going to
more in the series, I truly, Truly Hope so. I would watch them all BUT I feel it could of been a
bit longer.
