Whats up with season 3?

Did they intentionally make this season hard to follow? I mean I'm all for limiting the exposition, but between all the hallucinations and back and fourth, this is kind of difficult to follow. Right from the start I felt like I missed an episode somewhere. Hopefully it starts to make more sense later.

it never does,
a real trainwreck of a season

I disagree with the op..It does make sense as it goes along..They're just heavily into hallucinogenics..

I think this season was awful. Billy McBride doesn't work in a rural setting, among many other problems. Amy Brenneman acts her ass off, but the whole situation is so unrealistic and weird that it doesn't make any sense.

They decided to go for twin peaks.
Don't ask me why, because that's unexplicable.
They failed miserably.

I only like season 1, it was good to see the underdog come up on top.
They never replicated that feel, which was the whole point of Goliath to begin with.
This series is just a showcase of seriously bad writing at this point.

It was. . .different. I can see how that would turn some people off. I just enjoyed the hell outta the acting; it was worth watching for the performances alone.

Curious what you thought was "unrealistic" about the story, though. . .you Do realize that it's based on true events, yes? 90% of it actually Did happen. . .

While I can see a conspiracy to steal groundwater and some local ranch family dynasty benefiting, the whole taking hallucinogens and general weirdness seems to break my verisimilitude.

LOL. . .there are definitely a LOT of oddball folks out there. Shrug. I guess I've run into more of 'em than you, so it didn't seem at all unrealistic.
