Perfect Intro

Just saw this at Frightfest, great movie, I'll have to say the intro was spot on, the close up of the vcr with the reddish/pinkish neon like lighting was pure late 80s nostalgia, plus I had that keyboard riff stuck in my head half an hour later.

I really liked the intro as well, and when they walked into the store stocked with videos! It took me back to the days of rentals! The ending missed the mark, though. I wish they had gone more in depth with the dad's obviously weird quirks and relationship with the sons. It kind of just fell off when they saved his soul and then it just ended. Artistically, I really liked where they went with it. The video vixen was so much like an Anton Lavey character and perfect for the role. It was supposed to be campy yet modern. I got it.
