This is without doubt the worst film this year. Acting is sooooo bad. The jokes (????) are beyond cringe worthy. I watch all genre of films but even I couldn't raise a smile to this mess. Proves to me that Imdb has a lot of false posts here saying this film is brilliant.

Could not have been put it better. How the hell has this got to 9.7. Imdb needs to introduce a zero point score which would signify "avoid at all costs". I watched this on the strength of its high points rating...what a mistake!

shareAt the time of my original post it was 9.7 with 2000 votes. Which puts it higher than Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days later,Zombieland etc etc.
With that sort of rating I was expecting excellent acting with a good plot and comic content. It should have been a 2 maybe 3 tops.
Another couple of months and it will be off the radar.

Maybe if the actors in this film could act, had a better plot and not had the poster boys of everything douchey about today's vets, then maybe it would have been an OK movie. But it's not.

The reason why they "can't act" is because they're not professional actors. They're veterans. Ones with a sense of humor actually. Also, there's only so much that can be done on a 1 million dollar budget. If they went to Hollywood, the movie would've been ruined. This is something that's never been done before. Veterans in charge of their own film, not being ruined by Hollywood. You know how many movies about the military absolutely ruin it? Never get anything, or most to anything right? So many. It's atrocious.
