terrible

I didn't think it was terrible but it certainly wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

I have a question about the ending - SPOILERS FOR OTHERS - DON'T CONTINUE READING IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT!

Why did they have to be killed over and over? Why not just once after being lured into the grass? It didn't explain it.

And why were Becky, Cal and Tobin allowed out after they had been killed multiple times but Natalie wasn't? And what
about Travis? Would he have another chance on the outside?

It really didn't make sense (unless I somehow missed something crucial to the story).

You didn't miss anything crucial to the movie. Those are all valid questions.

My guess on Travis: I think The Rock needs a caretaker to spread the word and it elected Travis to be it. It looked like he was uncontrollably drawn to it after he killed Ross. That, or either he did it on purpose hoping he'd be strong enough to show Tobin out to safety. Of course I'm just guessing since the sorry-ass movie didn't want to be clear about anything.

Linear time didn't seem to exist within the field. The movie had too many unanswered questions and didn't make much sense to me. A waste of time.

Your theories make a lot of sense, thanks very much.

Right on.

What about Natalie? Why wasn't she allowed to live after refusing to touch the rock and sacrificing herself for her son?

reply

I turned it off after 15 minutes. Annoying screaming and stupid people with stupid boring dialoque.

It was a let down
Some good ideas and it was well shot but boring and senseless
