I missed it. One second Jena Sims and the black guy were there and then all of a sudden they're in the boat and those two are gone.

Suffering through this stinkburger on Netflix at the moment. Gotta' love the writers on this one.

actress: "Where's the nearest land?"
actor: "Maybe 15 or 20 miles!"
me: "Turn the boat over that way; there's a beach 300 yards away."

actor and actress continue to scream about whether nor not the boat will make it.

me: "Turn the stupid boat 90 degrees to starboard. There's a beach RIGHT OVER THERE! You can run aground, dash into the woods, and the shark can't get you without trapping or impaling itself on those trees when it tries to jump at you. ... Hello?"

I mean, these must be the same writers from the Geico chainsaw massacre commercial.

panicked blonde: "Why can't we just get in the running car?!"
frightened, but level headed male: "Are you crazy?!"

Love how they have to get into the LITTLEST boat in the area because the shark can crash through plate metal to eat a man in an underwater facility and leap 75 feet into the air from under water and land with perfect precision in order to chomp 3 different people at the same time (which it couldn't see from under the water)... but it can't tip over a little fiberglass boat traveling at 3 knots?

Oh! And I was impressed by the healing power of the garbage. it allowed the shark to grow three additional heads! And Stanley GREW HIS WHOLE FIST BACK after diving into the water to offer himself to the shark after the shark bit his hand off at the wrist! Someone needs to bottle that garbage water as a miracle cure. :)

... This movie hurt my widdle head. :(

Oh, and another thing...

When Omar volunteers to swim out to the boat, the first thing that popped into my head was, "Dude. You're a black guy in a horror movie. You shouldn't volunteer for ANYTHING, 'cause you're already living on borrowed time."
