An emotional tear jerking drama, with a Stella cast. But why does this film feature in so many top ten worst films of 2016? I can’t understand the poor reviews this is, and has, attracted, why all the hate?

All trailes & plot synopsises everywhere shamelessly lie to everyone.

It's a shameless, emotionally manipulative Oscar-bait failure.

It's morally disgusting.

Another awful Will Smith Acting vehicle.

Ed Norton's character was a disgusting human & incredibly annoying.

Makes NO sense.

The real plot is a *beep* dumb & nasty plot

There was certainly a lot of Stella imbibed when they wrote and directed this trash.

I love these "why all the hate" posts!! It's not hate, it's just recognition that this is a BAD movie. If something is bad, saying it's bad is NOT hate, it's reality.

The example of a bad film that comes to mind is Dirty Grandpa. Besides being truly bad it also involved Robert De Niro. I didn't think I'd ever 'hate' a film with him in.
