Did Test Pattern ep offer anything new that Blue Jean Committe didn't?

I turned off the TV bc I just saw Test Pattern all over again and I didn't see the point in that.

Should I have given it another chance?

I'm starting to get the impression you thought it was a meh episode. I thought it was sub-meh at first, but when he started parodying Waits and Springsteen, I thought it was meh-plus.

I liked it quite a bit. I appreciated that it showed the tension between the band members more with the on stage stuff rather than consisting mostly of interview footage and the more typical Behind The Music style in Gentle And Soft.
