Well, IIRC all kinds of things can play into it in reality. And I also thought even very dark babies appear light when born.

But I think it was just to make it clear to the viewer? Although I'm still a little unsure on some plot points.

Why the baby born was so dark if it was supposed to be half white.

Wait.

It was half white? That means it was half black? When was that decided? I never saw that. I thought the black baby was just the curse. The ghost in the room and all that.

I gave it a 3. Not a really bad movie in itself but too danged little explained. No resolution. Too many questions not even addressed let alone answered.
