Premise is unique for a cop drama, good to see

Nearly all the cop dramas are too similar, but this has an interesting premise.

It seems as if they are pushing/forcing the chemistry with her and her partner. "That" is very familiar, What is really different, at least so far is she has a very supportive husband and her partner is either divorced or widowed with custody. These two points are a bit different from the norm.

I honestly like the family drama a lot better than the cop drama stuff, having watched other stuff like Law and Order, I find the mysteries a bit too cleaned up and Scooby Doo like for my taste.

I agree i like it when they focus on the family and not just the cop duties.
