No wonder Hannah is pissed at Lifetime!

I would be too! This story was poorly told, not following facts and gives credit to some very stupid rumors.

IF Hannah "went along" with the perv's plan, it was only as a measure of self-preservation.

No one should judge Hannah for choices she made.

Lifetime made it seem like Hannah was enjoying the spotlight, her instant "celebrity" status. That absolutely minimizes the horror of her experience.

Hannah Anderson is an extremely strong young woman for surviving this.

Lifetime needs to stick to making cheesy FICTION because they just aren't good with reality.

I hope Hannah reads this and knows that most people support her.

^Guilty as hell.

When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.

What is she guilty of?

This movie was boring, but it hardly made her look bad. It made her look like a typical teenager.

I had never heard of this case until the movie. After watching I went to look up what it was based on. Now her behavior after everything happened made her look bad. Throwing up gang signs and hanging out with a boyfriend; she very much seemed to be enjoying that spotlight.

The movie made her seem completely sympathetic. Her real life behavior back then, not so much.

The FBI did investigate this after the fact and they cleared her. She and her whole family were not real smart, so I doubt she manipulated the FBI. What is the evidence she wanted her mother and brother dead?

reply

The FBI did do a complete investigation and cleared her which to me says it all.

I am sure her father lives with this that he brought this sick animal near his family, he should have been banned from the family after that altercation at the dinner table and Hannah should have kept her distance after what happened in LA and told her father.

But that aside, I believe she was a victim of a mentally disturbed person. Glad she is home and going on with her life. The movie did not make her look but. The sister of the father's "friend" should not have been listened to..

Everybody on this board who says she is guilty of one thing or another has never said why she wanted to kill her mother and brother. I understand teenagers getting mad enough to kill their parents, but why would she kill her little brother?

reply

Because there are no examples of teenage girls conspiring with their boyfriends to have their family killed? You need to do some research. Start with Jasmine Richardson, for example.

Says nothing at all. The authorities also cleared the Ramsays.

The movie made her seem completeky innocent. That is what lifetime did wrong. She had her role in things in sure

Since you aren't a trained professional or have access to the investigation results, your very simplistic opinion amounts to nothing. You don't know what she went through because you weren't there. Just because her behavior in the aftermath of her ordeal doesn't match the media's view of what trauma victims are supposed to act like doesn't mean she's not a victim. Victims of violent crimes react to them differently and cope with them differently. Some turn to drugs. Some self-harm. Some never leave their homes. Some find an outlet to express their grief in a safe and controlled environment, like Hannah taking pictures for her social media accounts.

This is the problem with the media's portrayal of victims. No matter what, they're always doing something wrong. If they cry constantly and scream and demand justice, then they're passed off as overly sensitive, that they need to get over it. If they don't show any emotion (which is a common coping mechanism after experiencing a trauma), then they must not be suffering at all. People think that because she's on the news that her story is public property. It's not. It's hers and hers alone. How she copes with what happened to her is HER business, not the business of some uninformed IMDB user who can't even be bothered to spellcheck his replies to give his already-weak argument some shred of credibility. Spreading unfounded opinions that aren't based in any kind of facts aren't doing anything except hindering this poor girl's recovery and victimizing her all over again.

Do you have acces? If you don't, then your opinion is just as meaningless. If you do, then you're clearly biased and you need to shut up.
