Like the story in VHS?

Looks almost exactly like the first or second story in VHS. The actress even looks the same, but I haven't checked the cast yet. So is this pretty much just a full movie version?

Yes, it's the segment in V/H/S and was lengthened into a full solo feature film that expanded on the character's mythology, answering the question as to "what was Lily?" Interesting little film, not the best I've ever seen for sure, but quite enjoyable if you liked the short from V/H/S and wanted more of that.

The plot is actually drastically different from the VHS short; the characters' motivations are made more likable, the setting is changed, and Lily's backstory and character is also slightly altered (in the original short, the producers hypothesized that she might have been a succubus but in SiREN she is a siren).

If you enjoyed the VHS segment you probably will enjoy this one. Little on the low budget end but still good. And yes it is the same actress from VHS, Hannah Fierman. Its not the same Lilith from the first film. Ill make a spoiler topic on it if you are interested.

I liked the short, but the full length is bland and flavorless. There's no style to it, everything is ho hum and by the book. Trying to flesh out the titular character kind of ruined everything, and it should have just stayed a short film. And this is coming from someone who's a fan of the director.
