The animation style, frenetic action sequences with well-detailed colors, spiritual themes, and subtle use of similar sound effects are very much similar to the sequences shown in Kung Fu Panda, albeit thrown with Hindu culture and religious elements.

Not to mention the theme of skilled warriors/fighters who must restore balance corrupted by a sadistic individual is common in films/shows overseas.
