Definitely brings out the best and the worst in people.

Can you imagine being given $100,000 and not be willing to give up one penny to a more needy family? The worst in people.

Kay: Senators and presidents don't have men killed.
Michael: Oh, who's being naive, Kay?

Everyone is needy in someway or another(Unless you are an actor, businessperson, or well off athlete) so I wouldn't call it the worst of people.

This is how our corporate masters keep us in line. They make us fight each other.

I want to see a show where rich scum are forced to live in squalor and have no access to health care, transportation, or healthy food. I want to see them have to drink contaminated drinking water from factory run-offs. I want to see them say "What's that SMELL?!?" in response to the carcinogenic air they create for the ground dwellers to breathe. I want to see them frustrated as they try to contact what they see as "the civilized world" of personal assistants, limo drivers, and other servants, only to find that no one is willing to bend over for them at the drop of their name.

I want to see how the real greedy among us handle life as a REAL person.

I want to see them harassed by a corporate cop, pledged to "server and protect" the wealth an safety of the rich, who laughs at them when they ask, indignantly, "Do you know WHO I AM?"

I want to see them be convinced that through some mishap in communication with the show's producer, rather than being in this situation for a couple of days, SLUMMING IT, as it were, they are set adrift in the sea of humanity indefinitely with no means to contact their valet and have the helicopter rescue them from poverty and obscurity.

Love is like breathing. You have to take some in and let it out to live.

I would be 100% confident if they were truley deserving that both Government Programs and the Internet (like GoFundMe) would step in.

Well, technically, only one of the families is more needy than the other. But, as described, both families are about $100,000 in debt. Keeping the money would clear the debt and give them a fresh start.
