Fifteenth Level?

I've completed the main game (from 'follow the Lego brick road' to 'the last dimension') yet there is one last level at the end. I know it's not the three level packs as there are three question marks separated from the rest. Any idea what it is?

Is it the hidden gateway? To access it you go to the area where all the portals are at. Go all the way to the right on the second tier. It should be a gold gate. All you do is defeat waves of bad guys for gold bricks on a desk set in real life

I unlocked it a long time ago, but I think you have to collect a pile of gold bricks before you can even access the Mystery Dimension level (and that is the actual name), which should result in a pile of wobbling parts that you use to build the level portal. It's kinda like the Joel McHale ads with the game characters interacting with each other in a real-world environment. For each World that you've loaded a character from (so you'll start out with at least three), it will send three waves of enemies to fight you. Defeat all three rounds and you'll win a gold brick. With 14 Adventure Worlds, there are a total of 14 gold bricks that can be obtained through this level, but it will _only_ respond to Worlds that you've got access to. So if you go in with just the Starter Pack and nothing else, you'll only get nine waves of enemies and top out at three gold bricks before the only thing left to do is jump back through the portal construct. As you load new characters into the game for the first time, the system will keep track of which ones you have and have not loaded (you can check your list from the Characters sub-menu in the main portal menu, where any that are greyed out you haven't loaded and full-color ones you have). The next time you enter the Mystery Dimension, it will start you off with waves of enemies for any Worlds you haven't claimed a gold brick for before repeating the ones you're already done with. This is a nice time-saver, as it takes a whopping ten gold bricks to fully upgrade any vehicle/gear, and at some point you might find you're just shy of being able to complete an upgrade that you really need/want. As with all gold bricks, sticking around to deplete further waves of enemies will net you one blue stud if you've already collected that specific gold brick, but there are much more time-effective ways to reap studs.
