Missing Pieces

My game has missing pieces from the batmobile, will I be able to play?

reply

Yes. The game is reading the microchip in the blue stands that the figures come with, not the figures themselves.

They look like this:

So as long as you have those blue stands, you will be fine.

The only things the portal pad needs are the large blue pucks. The minifig pucks with the 1x2 stud pattern are character-specific, while the blank 2x2 pucks are truly blank. You'll write the data to that puck when you unlock or upgrade the vehicle you assign to it, you can erase the vehicle from that puck, and you can write a different vehicle to it at a later date. The game does offer directions on how to build each of the three different forms when you're using the upgrade menu to change the default form, but you can also use the action menu during gameplay to quickly flip through the different forms that you've unlocked, which it does so without showing you how to rebuild the different forms.

For the missing pieces, if you call the Shop-At-Home number, and you have the paper instructions from the set, they can hook you up with replacement parts for no charge. You'll need to be able to provide them the set number (five-digit number, in this case falling into the 71xxx range), and you'll have to find the page in the instruction book where they show you the element list for that set (towards the back of the book). Next to each element is a number that should range between 5-7 digits. That number tells them what shape and color they need to replace.

Also, be aware that while they do always make a point of supplying a handful of extra small parts (against this very possibility), all forms of any vehicle/gear use _exactly_ the same parts with no leftovers, so you don't need to keep all the extras aside just in case someone wants to rebuild the physical model to match one of the other two available forms. And if you have new leftovers after doing so, one of the two models was clearly built wrong.

You know what noone tells you about cooking with the Dark Side? The food is really good!
