This show is a reincarnation of 'ER' to me

Just from watching a few episodes of Chicago Med it looks like a new millennium reincarnation of "ER" at least to me.

Btw what hospital was used for this show?

I noticed the similarities too, ER also took place in Chicago. Med is good but ER still my favorite medical show, St. Elsewhere was great too.

I think ER was a bit more "raw" but i too see some similarities.
