No, I don't know of any other films that would better educate you about Bitcoin. But better education will come outside of films.

This so-called documentary it was nothing but a puff piece made by the promoters of Bitcoin. It was not at all a fair and balanced view.

First of all, it was an hour long but didn't even mention Bitcoin for the first 30 minutes. It just told you how the entire banking system and all governments are in a constant state of collapse and you're going to lose all your money no matter what.

In the second half, it started promoting Bitcoin, talking about the many many many advantages of it.

They didn't mention the time that the value of Bitcoin dropped 75%, including a 36% drop in two days.

They also didn't mention that just last month, 77 million dollars worth of Bitcoin was stolen out of various Bitcoin wallets with Bitfinex.

This is an extremely rotten situation that ended up worse than it could possibly have turned out with anyone's deposit in an American Bank. Money was stolen out of many Bitcoin wallets. Many wallets were not stolen from, and many of those wallets had much much much more money in them then the ones that were stolen from. So the unthinkable "solution" to the problem after it happened was to reduce the number of Bitcoins in everyone's wallet on that exchange by 36%. Therefore, someone with a lot of Bitcoin in there immediately lost far more money than the people who did have money stolen. They did nothing wrong, it was not their security problem. But the Exchange took away 36% of their money anyway. This would be like the United States federal government telling you that all the $10 bills are being renamed and they are now 6.5 dollar bills.

All the clever talk about how fast a dollar is losing its money in the start of this documentary is ridiculous, Bitcoin is many many times more volatile than gold or the U.S. dollar.

I hope that no one is taking the content of this film as Financial advice.

If I had to say something positive about this film, I would say that I'm amazed that it was made for $13,000. The production value is extremely high.
