PTA bake sales

I got a serius question here, at one of the PTA meetings the president give a list of ingridiant not to be used on baking cakes, like butter, sugar, eggs etc...I thought there is no way people would come out with any cakes without this ingredients but later on you see amazing cakes.
I often bake for my kids PTA cakes sale, and I try to use all organic ingredients and avoid any nuts but there is no way I could bake anything of the sorts without using at least sugar, flour and eggs.

It's a satirization of the hyper-cautious and coddling nature of western schools in where if one child out of a student body of hundreds has an allergy then people are advised to avoid bringing any items containing that ingredient to school. Some places forbid it outright and make everyone suffer for the actions/genetics/immune systems of a single or minority of individuals.

You *DO* understand that your kid eating some peanuts, and then putting his hand on a kid who has a peanut allergy during recess could actually be FATAL to the kid with the peanut allergy...right?

I grew up when people ate and brought whatever they wanted to, to VERY large public schools and NOBODY died or had any serious problems from any of it. EVER. We even survived wood burning sets and lawn darts!
