Pedro Pascal!

I just watched this for the first time on Netflix and was happy to see Pedro Pascal (Whiskey) in it. He almost steals the whole damn movie out from everyone else. When this movie came out he hadn't yet been 'discovered' by Hollywood as he appears pretty far down the credits list and doesn't appear in any of the promotional material.

I recently learned of him when I watched the sequel to the Equalizer. Then saw him in Triple Frontier soon after. Then he popped up Prospect. Regardless of what you thought of Prospect, his anti-hero -- with his smooth-as-butter Southern charm -- was the best part of that movie by far.

As I watched him in THIS movie I thought: "If they ever remake Smokey and the Bandit" or do a Burt Reynolds biopic, somebody in Hollywood better have the good sense to hire this guy. The resemblance to mid-80s Burt Reynolds -- all 'stache and cowboy hat -- was uncanny.

I came on here to see if anyone else saw this and thought ... Burt Reynolds. Too funny. He looked just like him. I looked to see if perhaps it was his kid or grandkid or something.
