The final score should not have been close....Winner Spoiler inside

It honestly shows that people were either bitter or simply did not understand the nature of the Maggie/Nick alliance.

At no time did they plot to sabotage other players or teams...They seemed to be a support system for one another, but other than that, both advanced as far as they did on their own will and merit....There was some strategy at the end in regards to James, but nothing mean-spirited.

One of the women talked about character being a factor in her vote....If true, I'd like for her to explain how the James, who badmouthed a number of people, acted like a imbecilic child, and seemed to "take his ball and go home" whenever people were not kissing his butt, was any better than a woman who busted her ass every second.

Honestly, how many times during the last 10 weeks did you see James sit his ass down or go take a nap because "I'm exhausted."....Hell, he lost a strength challenge (the mattress toss) to a woman who weighs 100-pounds soaking wet!

She dominated him in every challenge down the stretch....If the votes had been cast along the lines of most deserving/best player, it would have been a 17-2 landslide.

Very happy Maggie won; it would have ruined the season if the undeserving crybaby won on the grounds of having a better sob story.

Well, one things, for sure. People will think twice if there's a next season about forming alliances. I agree that the ones who based their vote on it were being silly. As the one guy said, the vote should be based on the strategy that got those 2 to the final.

Hoffman31, I couldn't agree more.

Although I didn't care for this season's format I did make it through to the finale and found James' true colors which he didn't manage to conceal (despite his attempts at coming across as the good 'ol aww shucks lil 'ol me teddy bear) completely off putting.

Maggie was a hard worker and a smart player throughout and her (and her family's) win was a relief and extremely well deserved.
