I barely go to ESPN site since they shut down their forums.
More like three more episodes while the IMDB forums last.
I don't like that they have to close down the forums, but I can understand why they did it: there are a billion titles and each title has its own board, and with trolls and arguments it's a wonder the boards have been maintained okay till date.
For DB, I signed on to discuss it at Kanzenshuu. And beyond that, I can still add quotes/trivia/images/info to DB titles on IMDb. So I don't think I've lost too much from this move.

I'm going to miss this board but at the same time I get why IMDB is going to shutdown the forums. So many of them never have anything to do with the specific movie or tv show but ether people talk about another movie/show or nothing related at all.
And then you have other stupid topics that attacks an actors looks or weight just to be jerks about it like the Game Of Thrones forum for example. I always felt that imdb should of done a better job on taking care of trolls like other websites do but since they never bothered then might as well end the forums.
If any Dragon Ball fans are interested they should check out the reddit page for Dragon Ball. They are great with so many topics and interesting stuff. And some cool info about future Dragon Ball Super episodes and everything. I started going there a month ago and it's good.
Anyways good luck to everyone here. The DBS forums might not of been very active but at least it wasn't filled with trolls or anything and there was always great stuff to talk about and many good people here.

But imdb gave us the ignore button option. No need to shutdown the entire message board site due to trolls that can just as easily be ignored with a button that the website gave us in the first place.
Oh well. I guess it's time to head over to the kanzenshuu forum in 3 weeks.
I agree with you, but it was fun to discuss in here about our theories and stuff.
I think they should get rid of all the person's boards (actors, crew, etc) and most of the "regular" boards, where most of the trolls are (like the Soapbox, etc.). Keep it focused on films-TV and get moredators. We contribute and build this site for free, so how can't they get boards moredators as volunteers and only a few global mods as part of the Staff?
I have an account on Kanzenshuu too, I have it from some years but I was affraid to post there because of a warning that your English should be perfect, but they are very understanding about being a non-native, so it's cool.
There's people all over the World and fans only, so you can have some good discussions with respect always and still learn a lot, like I have learned about the English dubs here on IMDb.
