I am a GT fan, but yes, spoilers in the title are bad education, but, this one was interesting, I had totally forgotten about Bra, but Bra was weak and basically human, but she is the child of a saiyan god, she should be much more powerful than Trunks.

Ok so the consensus is that GT is non canon. Lol Who give a fvck? I enjoyed GT, well most of it, I didn't really like the black star dragon balls saga but after Baby was introduced it got a whole lot better.

SS4 was awesome and I liked the shadow dragons saga even thought it wouldve benefitted by being a little less cartoony. But on the whole, I liked GT even though it's not considered canon (Oh NO!! /sarcasm) Who gives a fvck? If you like it you like it, if you don't then you don't. No reason to hate on it if you don't like it, just don't watch it.

And it definitely looks like Super is making sure that people don't see GT as canon but for me at least, it's still a cool side story or alternate reality Dragon Ball story.

Bra was always canon. She appeared in the last 3 episode of Dragon Ball Z, and in the last chapter of the manga.

Exactly and I don't know why some people are so desperate for it to be. I think some of them just want Super Saiyan 4 back (which was probably the most popular thing about GT).

Super Saiyan 4, despite of being interesting, wasn't even that good.

SSJ4 Gogeta looked awesome though.

Super has introduced too many things that make GT not canon anymore. Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, the Gods of Destruction, the Super Dragon Balls, Zen-o Sama...

You can't say "They forgot about all of those things" just to make GT happen.

THOUGH, I still thoroughly believe that Beerus' wish to give Universe 6 a new Earth might end up being what makes GT canon again: it specifically states that the Universe 6 Earth is populated with "people comparable to Universe 7 Earth". So, this could mean that the Super Dragon Balls might've basically made a copy of Universe 7 Earth (history and all). So... Maybe we'll get to see Super Saiyan 4 as Universe 6's take on Super Saiyan God?

well, what has been said by the hater implies that gt was never canon, but is it only here that contradictions seem to arise and one is forced to choose either as canon, your explanation seems far fetched to me, but something shall happen to make it possible to have both to be right.

Technically, Harry IS right though. With GT being an anime-only part of the Dragon Ball Universe, it's about as canon as the movies (totally not canon).

I was going to say "Just like Super in a way" but Super DOES have a Manga counterpart. So... That makes it more canon than GT in a way.

At best, I'd say that GT is "filler".

(Do note, I don't harbour such an intense hate for GT as Harry does. It's harmless, in the end. And say what you want, the ending still moves me to tears. I hope Super does something at least as good as that.)

No, GT is not canon simply because... it's not. It was considered no longer canon/official a short time after it ended.

GT is such a giant mess at every possible aspect, it felt like a very bad parody of DB and DBZ. Obviously it couldn't have been counted anymore.

GT is basically 100% irrelevant. GT is basically a giant and terrible nightmare.

with that kind of statements who looks like a troll is you HS, or at least like a manchild, and yes, the lack of manga is irrelevant because being different media they are just different continuities, like marvel comics universe (the films and agents of shield) being a different continuity than the comics (mostly Earth 616), this is why most claim that the Asgard saga aint Saint Seiya canon, or the Crystal Saint, but they are canon to the anime continuity. In this case HS calls GT non-canon only because he did not enjoy it.

If Akira and Toei have said Gt aint canon put here evidence to that, if there is such evidence I would believe it, but I am not the one that rambles like a baby every time someone tells them that they do LOVE and ADORE Dragonball Grand Touring and have no reason to believe it aint canon.
