I seriously doubt it. That's taking things from the multiverse level and making it alternate reality/timeline multiverse level. Knowing Zen-Oh, he'd likely want to look into these alternate realities/timelines and want to see who is the strongest there, possibly even compete with the Zen-Oh's fighters of that reality/timeline. Far too complicated. Besides, Beerus ad Whis have pretty much made it impossible to time travel anymore.

Yes, I know they are trying to do that to other characters, and I'm happy they are doing that. Trunks is just a "thought", I think it's interesting to see Trunks enter the tournament, and I think adult Trunks never attended any martial art competition before.
