Will this get a USA release?

It looks pretty interesting and has an 8.1 rating, I'd be interested in seeing it. A Chinese animated feature has never been nominated for an Oscar, this should be submitted.

Same question. Pleassssse.

I want to see it too! I recognize some American voice actors on the cast list. I'm hoping that means there is at least communication between the producers and an American company.

I just watched "Monkey King Hero Returns" (that was the translation used) streamed from Vego (Chinese channel on my Vizio TV) and while it has its flaws (poor editing and continuity as the reviews say, and not totally faithful to the original story - seems heavily influenced by the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies), I enjoyed it, more so than Stephen Chow's 2014 live action movie, which barely has anything to do with Journey to the West, and featured a really nasty Monkey King. I even got a little teary eyed watching this. So, yes, please give us an English language (subtitled at least) release on video. The version I saw had English subtitles, not too badly translated for a Chinese film, barring some typos, but for some reason used R rated language - the S word and the F word, for crying out loud, in a kid friendly movie!!! Please fix this for the video release, thank you!
