Italian movies and subtitles

I enjoyed this - a sort-of coming-of-age movie for adults. Of course, I always enjoy Laura Morante.

Italians seem to speak very rapid-fire quickly. Obviously the subtitles must keep pace with the dialog, so one has to be rather good at scanning the subtitle then change focus to watch the action on screen.

It's a bit like the TV show, "Jeopardy". If you follow along as Alex reads the clue, you'll never be first to press the buzzer.

I'm glad I cut my teeth on subtitled French movies first.
