Please stop interrupting the guests!

Just finished watching the first episode on TV. First off I have to say I love the show in general. It's the execution that I have a problem with. Particularly in the way deGrasse Tyson interacts with his guests.

deGrasse Tyson is a superb speaker. No question. But for the love of god would he please let the guests finish a sentence. It became so annoying how he kept cutting them off to interject his own points while they were desperately trying to finish theirs. It detracted from the conversation.

He seems better suited to lecturing on his own rather than in group discussion. But for the sake of the show, he needs to take more of a back seat to let the audience hear what his guests have to add and stop trying to dominate every conversation. I presume he brought them on because they have something interesting to say. So give way to let them say it!

I agree. If you watch the ex-president Carter episode, his comedic co-host does a lot of interrupting as well.

Also, if he didn't have to keep reintroducing his co-host and guest, we'll have less of that creepy sexual offender thing he does with his mouth. What is that? Biting his lip or wagging his tongue and then a half-wink. Eew.

Hahah, yea... IMO, it's just thought-process (well, hopefully, LOL). It's awesome, his -almost- child-like demeanor; only, I honestly hope that it's ALL, just, naive. :D
