Is it really THAT good?

I mean i haven't seen it yet but to those who have does it live up to the hype? (note that I'm a big Marvel/Spider-man fan so I'm watching it anyway :))

So? What did you think?

Loved it. very fun I specially liked Jake Johnson's 'slacker' Spidey. lol

Just watched it for the [insert highish number here] time and... yea, this film is pure excellence. I’ll enthusiastically say it again — Into the Spider-Verse is an incredible achievement.

I was extremely skeptical going into this experience, especially after the "overhyped black panther" let down (my opinion). But I gotta say this film delivered the hyped goods. It is simply very good. Moreover, I don't think people who don't like this film are necessarily racist; they could just be super hard core marvel fans who just don't like the idea of there being more than one Spiderman.

not bad - 7/10

No. It is not bad, but there is definitely a lot of hype going on with this movie. The animation is good (not as good as Pixar's though) but the story is unremarkable. I gave it a 6/10.

I just watched it on Netflix and there were a few things I didn’t like much.

I didn’t like Miles taking so long to dominate his powers. I wished he did just like Peter in every movie before that one and didn’t like the pig version of SpiderMan I would have preferred another universe Peter or Maybe Jessica drew.

It’s good story all around with Many SpiderMan working together and all in some way went through the same things but Miles taking so long being SpiderMan bored me a little.

SPOILERS

Miles clearly lacked confidence in himself, which is why he looked up to the wrong person, his uncle.

Sure, Peter Parker also lacked faith in his own abilities too, though it's not like Miles is growing up with a privileged life in the nice suburbs of Queens, New York. He goes to a prestigious school totally on merit alone, passing an exam.

It helped having other spidey-centric allies to pull the leg work for a change, making it feel different from the rest of the Spider-Man films.
