I didn't know PETA made movies.

This was one of the weakest films I've ever seen. Slow moving, laughably poor acting, and a plot that just... doesn't. And the frequent allusions to the evils of animal slaughter made the whole thing come of like some kind of activist project. Meh.

I have to say I agree. Those clips were completely unnecessary to tell the story. I'm exercising my right to post on the message board since it's going to be stripped away soon! ??

I don't know. We can say that about any horror movie. The evils of Mental Patients always being killers or Voodoo is evil etc. Catholicism and their exorcisms. I don't think they did this for a message.

I think it was just an idea they went with. Like the Meat Packing District in Manhattan which is really trendy now to live in.

Agreed, they spent more time on the slaughter house history than the mass murders for which it was shut down.

All in all, it was not bad enough to turn off but not good enough to care about.

The Texas chainsaw massacre also used a slaughterhouse for evil / creep factor. It was, imho, far more of a pro vegan film than this.
