Worth Seeing Fate of the Furious in Theaters?

Any particular reason to see Fate of the Furious in theaters, such as special IMAX effects, 3D, etc? Or should I wait till the Blu Ray?

Yeah, it is definitely all about the action but it's so over the top and fun that you would probably want to see it on the big screen.

This movie is two hours of Vin brooding and 20 minutes of Statham kicking ass. Skip it.

No, it isn't. It's some damn good entertaining-as-hell, never-boring-for-one-minute two hours of hardcore wall-to-wall action (and drama) scenes, with a funny opening scene featuring the Rock and a girls' softball team. Some of the action scenes are pretty inventive (like the one with the self-driving cars chasing the team back and forth---that's one of the better parts of the film.) I actually didn't think part 7 could be topped, because it was just that damn good, but they actually managed to do it here. And it's really funny in some parts (mainly because of Tyrese's character and his realistic reactions to all the crazy s*** that's going on all around him---that always had me near to cracking up.) I could see anyone not liking it, but to claim it's boring---all I can say is that anyone claiming that must have slept through the entire thing.

And,yeah, you have to see this in theatres to get the full effect of all the action , IMAX or no IMAX, lol.
