better ending

It would have been better if they thought they made it, and instead screwed up history, and landed in a Berlin Nazi Germania.

reply

That's what I thought would happen. Would've been neat.

I don't have time to jaw with anyone who won't identify himself!

reply

So true. They could have cut to the plane re-entering the storm before resolving the ground fire-fight over the dropped radar package, leaving things on the ground (rather than "up in the air," which would have been an inexcusable and inaccurate pun). Too bad no one asks us for advice.

reply

THAT would have been the dumbest ending EVER~! And so trite that we would all vomit.

...and all the Nazis were apes...dirty stinking apes.

reply

I agree, like the Matt Damon Planet of the Apes when he thinks he's in Paris, but it's populated by apes!

reply

That must be an alternate universe version. Here, in this time stream, mark wahlberg starred in the remake.

reply

I think that's the ending most people expected. Which makes it a predictable ending. I would have liked to see something like the world dominated by England or a world where time travel is possible due to analysis of the storm and data the British gathered from the event, or that technology is super advanced because of they reverse engineered the silicon integrated circuits and had microprocessors by 1950, or something like that.
