Just finished this and am a big fan of the original anime.

I thought this was pretty cool, and like how it was a bit different and that Light slowly became consumed by the power. I liked how they made him do his first kill after the motorbike guy to save his dad. most of us would have used the notebook in that instance I think.

One thing I found strange was when people were having heart attacks on the screen, all the surrounding people start to scream. This isnt normal. If someone had a heart attack you don't start screaming. Maybe its a cultural thing but still very strange.

Also got a question about when Near swaps the notebook at the end, but the prosecter guy kept his notebook safe by leaving a fake in the drawer, so how did Near know this...
