Really liked the different ending with the bad guys finally getting away with it for once, pretty rare for a Tv movie

I wasn't prepared for that. They outsmarted Amber and the rest of the police.

outsmarting that police department can't be too hard. the police in this film are as inept as it gets.

A real police force would need to actually see the hostages and not just their "voices".
