Not too much to it, but the lead actress was very appealing in a fresh-scrubbed, Mariel Hemingway type way. And I could swear that the actress who played her mother was Jenna Elfman, but apparently not.

Yes, Alison Sweeney is a very attractive actress. Too bad they did nothing to make her look or act like the character in the book. The real Hannah Swensen is red-headed, chubby/pudgy, dresses badly, and is an unlikeable know-it-all. And she definitely never ever jogged anywhere.

haven't finished watching it yet, but I thought the same thing. Hannah is very plain, and would never run, unless she was being chased! lol

Apparently they fixed some plot holes that were in the book. But there's still a lot of work to do before the next in the series.

How stupid is this? Jenna Elfman is nowhere near old enough to look like the actress who plays the mother, whose born in 1953. Elfman is born in 1971. She's eighteen years younger than that actress, whose old enough to be her mother.

If Ray Charles weren't dead, even he could tell it wasn't Elfman playing the role.
