Asinine plot hole/goof Spoiler

The villain kills because she and her spouse took out million dollar loans from a local predatory business man to pay back her investment banker son's clients losses against their company as collateral.

Bovine defecation. Investment bankers do not pay clients back for their bad investments. That's the breaks of the game. That's why they call it investing and not free money. There's risk involved.

The worst thing that can happen to an investment banker who gives a client bad advice is they get fired from the investment house they work for. Even that's unlikely. The risk is all on the client. They make the decision to invest their money based on the banker's advice, not the banker. He's just a facilitator who gets paid to broker the transaction.

Why do these morons write these asinine stories with plot points that have no basis in reality?
