Are there any other similiar movies where a classic first installment was followed by straight-to-DVD trash?

Walking tall 2004 had 2 direct to dvd films in 2007

I was born on this ship. The world passed me by, but two thousand people at a time.

Wild Things comes to mind. The first was fun, the sequels were basically Cinemax softcore porn
