shareYeah I really like her too, I'm a fan of Carly's too. She does really like Carly, like when they went shopping, but I think thats more of a transitioning mentor sort of thing though probably.
shareAgree with you (again!) I think Dan is more intrigued by Carly since Carly has come so much further in her transition. I really feel for Dan who - after 10 years of transitioning - is still not living full time as a woman, has not changed his name and not using male pro-nouns. Maybe this experience will change all that. He's gone pretty public now by agreeing to be on TV!
I have a lesbian sister who has been out since her early twenties. I used to live next door to lesbian couple who were living a closeted life as "roommates". They have since come out, but I vividly remember when my sister came to visit, one of them was so intrigued by her and taken with her ... I think she was really just in awe of my sister's ability to live her out life. My neighbor didn't have any role models for that at the time. This is what the Carly/Dan interaction reminded me of.
