Anachronistic language?

When I saw this film three months ago I made a note that quite a lot of the dialogue seemed too modern for the 19th century. A few examples:
- "OK. I'll be right back."
- "Do you think this dress is too aggressive?"
- "always been kind of an outdoorsman myself."

Am I correct? I know that sometimes figures of speech that I believe to be recent, turn out to be quite old.

Or perhaps the dialogue was intentionally written to include anachronistic idioms? (Although I'm not sure why this would be.)

I'd be interested in comments on this point from others who have seen the film.

Without a doubt. Noticed it as soon as it began. I started asking myself "wait, what year is this set in again?"
