So he goes to a gay bar, comes out, beats the hell out of a guy following him (poofter bashing) and then comes home all horny and takes it out on his girlfriend?
Such a weird scene. It wasn't sexy to watch. It looked like a rape.
The sex scene did look out of place, but I don't remember any gay bar....
So a player realises hes gay and follows him to a back-alley bar and it's implied that its a gay bar.

In my opinion he was probably asexual, which was a condition pretty hard to explain back then...
It was not rape, as she fully consented and reciprocated. However, it WAS awkward and did not add to the story.
