This show is based on Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. I have seen several other tv and movie versions but I realised that I haven't actually read the book. I have it in my Kindle so I'm going to give it whirl

It will take up a lot of your time. Just finished it myself after a few months of on and off reading. It is brilliant, though. One of my favorite books ever.
