Sara Snook
What a talent this actress is! She lights up the screen in every scene
shareThat's because her close ups appear much bigger than everyone elses. Even when she's talking to someone.
shareI didn't think she was that great - there was no chemistry between she and Skeet, mainly because of her ice-queen demeanour. Since he was such a flaky-ne'er-do well I would have expected there to be a heap of chemistry to make him attractive at all to a person as accomplished and out of his league as she was.
I don't think he was compatible with his fiance either - but then who would be, she was such a child!
That reads a bit like you're just a pessimist with self esteem issues who readily puts down other people, since you basically took a dump on everyone you talked about. GO TEAM YOU! lolz
shareThey aren't real people, you realise? They are characters - and I wasn't even criticising Anna and Skeet per se, more the lack of chemistry between them - that's not the actor's fault, more the casting director and writer's. If you want some positivity I liked Peter and LOVED his drunk brother, I also liked Kingsley despite him cheating on his wife so there you go, I DO have the capacity to like characters other people probably wouldn't(including other characters close to them in the show itself!).
I just watched the first episode of The Beautiful Lie and felt the role was so beneath Sarah Snook's talent. If you've seen the movie Predestination you'll agree that she is a phenomenal actress with a range like I have not seen since Cate Blanchett. The Beautiful Lie just seemed so pretentious I was shocked that she had taken it on.
shareI agree the show was pretentious but Sarah Snook strikes me as exactly the type of Aussie highbrow actress who would suit? You only have to look at her!
sharea bit of a dog
