I really tried to like this show but it's boring, predictable and unbeleivable. To produce a show like this, u need to IMO, get as realistic as possible. Dirty clothes rotten teeth, historically accurate situations. Not perfect clean dresses with makeup on point . That's why I love outlanders , u can almost smell the stench coming from them
shareStarchy and dull. Direction is boring. Story doesn't draw you in. I've tried repeatedly to watch this.... and end up ditching it. Huge disappointment.

I agree with you but when I realized it was a MASH remake it became funny. Radnor is Hawkeye, there's the Frank Burns and Hot Lips characters, drunk Colonel Henry Blake, Father Mulcahey. Try it!😉

shareAdmittedly I watched because I'm both a fan of period dramas and also Annasophia Robb. I happened to catch a behind the scenes bit on my local PBS so I watched the first few episodes. Unless the show picks up at some point it's so boring! It's like watching something that Hallmark would make. Guess since Downtown Abby is as big as it apparently is, and ending from what I hear, shows like Downtown Abby are the latest bandwagon that everyone has to jump on.
It's like watching folks go through the motions of saying the words and not much else.
I think there is too much emphasis on female characters for men to like it. That´s why it seems Hallmark-y. Now if those prostitutes were shown naked, the guys would be happy, and a lot of action thrown in would spark the male interest.
