A number of familiar faces

I watch a number of CBS shows and this show--especially episode 2.1, Balm in Gilead--features some very familir names and faces. Obviously Josh Radnor is known from CBS' show HIMYM, and also Mary Elizabeth Winsted from the late, lamented BrainDead. But in this episode we also see Patina Miller from Madam Secretary, and Nyambi Nyambi of Mike & Molly. Other faces are also familiar, such as the bishop from a few episodes of Blue Bloods, and Gary Cole, from various shows (including The Good Wife).

Incidentally, a number of Mercy Street actors have been seen in one or more episodes of Elementary, yet another CBS show.

I recognized Peter Gerety from NBC's "Homicide: Life on the Street"

I agree with the familiar faces...although I only can name 3 that I've seen before...Winstead, Radnor and Robb. The others are just familiar, but I can't place them and I've checked IMDB and still their credits don't ring familiar.

Gary Cole was Lumbergh from Office Space.

Gary Cole turns up all over the place, but the last few years he was Diane Lockhart's husband on The Good Wife.

Luke Macfarlane as the Chaplain has been on The Night Shift the past few seasons as Drew's partner (I've forgotten whether they got married yet, but they were adopting a sick child). And he plays D'Avin, the career soldier, on Scifi's Killjoys.
