Jon Petter's injury

Was it just great CGI or was he really a double amputee who just happened to be able to move so naturally it wasn't noticed? Afterall if you weren't looking for it maybe it would be missed with all the combat action going on. I didn't bother rewatching to check but I may do that if no one can answer my question.

Well, the actor had legs in his other movies and tv-series, so i'm sure it's CGI.
That being said, Gary Sinise's character, lietenant Dan, in Forrest Gump, also had his legs digitally removed in post processing.

Yes I remebmber the "Lt. Dan" "amputations"--great, realiztic effect--but Sinise wasn't shown doing rehab, attaching sleeves and artificial limbs to bare stumps and then rising and trying to walk, etc.. I was pretty sure it was done with CGI but it looked so realistic and the actor's movements looked as though he really was an amputee. Part of it was also no realizing such good effects were being done on TV, but, then, I don't watch much TV.

If it is CGI, it's amazing work. So believable that I logged in here just to explore this topic. The actor is wonderful and very talented. If there is a season 2, I will be watching.
