Another game show that will be run into the ground

What's wrong with once a week and give people something to look forward to?

They did the same thing with Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Deal or No Deal to start too and those both ran for years. If they only run it for a week a few times a year, that isn't running it into the ground. Showing it 2 or 3 times a week for a few months at a time will though. That being said, I have a feeling we won't see this show again after this one week

Yeah, this show is terrible.

I didn't watch last night because I was watching the premiere of Masterchef but I find it interesting that Mark Burnett is the Exec producer and creator of this show and yet he has it premiere on the same night as the Survivor finale.

Jeopardy has been airing how long 5 times a week? I know this is a gimmick game and it's different and longer. But I don't think they could get away with this once a week. It's a try for an event series.

I'll probably watch every show this week, but some changes I would make would be that a correct first guess should be $1,000, but a correct guess after that should be only $500. I don't like the idea of getting no money for a right answer just because you don't get it on the first try. Also if the challenger gets a right answer, he/she should be able to steal the money (say $500) and have that in their bank once they take the hot seat. Otherwise the challenger gets nothing. They should reward them for getting an anser that the contestant misses.

At least they're not wasting time asking the contestants useless questions about their life....they're just getting to the questions which is why shows like this attract viewers like me in the first place.

Any other changes people would suggest?

reply

It's difficult to care about smart people with good jobs winning money.

reply

That may be true, but I can't watch a show where idiots miss easy questions.

reply

..winning too little money, at that!

The dude was at $69k after 50 questions and almost 2 full episodes? Good grief. Kim Kardashian makes $15k to $30k to tweet what designers shoes she's wearing for crying out loud. lol

$69k? "No Big Deal" would be a better name for this show.

reply

I'd change the host for sure.

You will have to wait til the afternoon show where it will be then be called 100 questions to fit it in the 30 minute time slot.

They will ruin it with endless celebrity tournaments.
