Great Movie but unbelievable Casting

Lacey Chabert was Amazing as always and it was very nice to se Brennan Elliott in a good guy role, but because of the age difference between the two it's make the love connection a little unbelievable.(Maybe if they would take a difference back story but the face that they were in high school together was a no sale point for me)
The same with Mariah Carey character - in which world she and lacy can pass for the same age? the back story of the "rivalry" was great but again no sale for me cause of their age difference.
The actors do look their age and that bother me because it is a very nice story with a very good cast. it coulv'e been so much batter if not for the mismatch casting.

They were also in a movie last February call All of My Heart. The age ting doesn't bother me. They are both adults.

I think it was more about the fact that the two main characters are supposed to be the same age, but Brennan is obviously a bit older than Lacey. Same with Mariah. I guess you just have to suspend reality.

Agree about lacey and Mariah being totally unbelievable as classmates. Mariah is so much older. Her acting was painful.

Just wanted to expresed how much I enjoyed Brennan Elliott! And the little girl, Fina, was incredible. Not just delivering lines, but her whole body language and gestures were incredibly incredible!! (excuse the grammar!!)
