Why use CGI blood if you're already using squibs?

This really bothered me, throughout the movie whenever someone is shot, there are actual blood squibs, but the completely ruin it by adding ametuerish, Freddie Wong looking After Effects blood to it. Completely ruins the impact.

CGI blood and CGI muzzle flares have completely killed the action genre. And we all thought shaky-cam was bad.
