Season 2?

I saw the first three episodes and stopped watching. Did it get better or remain as uninteresting?

If you stop there you'll miss Noah Schnapp's amazing performance starting in the very next episode. Some of the most intense stuff in the series - his talents really were wasted as the helpless victim in season 1. Plus the teamup of Steve and Dustin. And what they reveal of the Mind Flayer (a.k.a. the shadow monster) makes for what I think is one of the cooler examples of an ultimate enemy.

My main criticism of season 2, like a lot of other people, had to do with episode 7. It gets more action packed as it goes so if you're one of the people who likes that you'll probably enjoy it. I guess it depends which aspects of the show appeal to you most.

I think the third season has been the best yet with the pairing of Mike and El.

Watch it until the end. It's definitely worth investing your time. Even if you're not into 1980s nostalgia, the horror facet of the show should keep it interesting.
