What score would you award it?

Personally, I feel a 7+ or 8- is about right.

I've just binge watched the first seven episodes.

It's good but yeah, the hype seems a little strong.

Once we get answers about the upside down universe and the monster, I predict a "Lost" type scenario of making it up as they go along until they haemorrhage viewers.

How so?

Is it over-hyped? Sure.

Is it good? Yes.

Don't believe hype, and you will be better off.

It's not the most brilliant or unique show out there, but it's good and I get why it's been so hyped up (the nostalgia is real and understandable).

The show doesn't pretend to be anything it's not.
