Couldn't disagree more with Winona Ryder getting a Emmy nomination and Millie Bobbie Brown not.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Somebody tell me that's a mistake.
I thought that Winona had a one note performance and that note was "annoying"
Maybe whoever makes these nominations thinks that you should "earn" your way with years of performances. That would explain, sort of, Winona's nomination.
Meanwhile, note that imdb named Millie their #1 new star of the year.
I love never gotten the love for millie. Regardless, winona getting the nomination has nothing to do with millie not getting it so no point hating her more for something that's completely unrelated.
It's the golden globes not emmy by the way. Maybe millie will still get an emmy nom.
I personally didn't love millie myself while but whatever.
Well the Emmys don't combine all supporting I don't think so there are more theoretical slots.
But really, Emmys are almost always more about seniority and/or social issues.
Personally? I really don't understand the disregard for Winona's performance. Before I even WATCHED the series I heard people pissing all over her and then I tuned in a month after the season was out and found nothing wrong with her performance at all and in fact found it believable. Especially for a woman who, in real life, has no children. I think YOU are all determined to make her fail honestly. And this is coming from a person who does not follow her career religiously. I don't see what you all have against her. It almost seems personal.

If she takes out the award I'll cheer for her, the same as an other actress who wins on the day. I still dont like her acting.
